Born and raised in Hawaii, Damon received his BA from Bard College in New York and his MFA in Film Directing at UCLA. Before moving to Los Angeles, Damon operated a web design business in San Francisco where he worked as a usability consultant, web designer, and interface designer. His media background has enabled the collaborative involvement in interactive media projects and shows as a line producer and assistant director. Recent projects as an Assistant Director include interactive online industrial commercials “Friendly Advice Machine” starring John Cleese (http://www.friendlyadvicemachine.com) and “That’s Revolting” with Florence Henderson (http://www.thatsrevolting.com) produced by Captains of Industry and ThunderSky pictures. Recent feature films include “You” directed by Melora Hardin from “The Office”, and “Basement Jack” a CGI-heavy thriller/horror film (http://www.basementjackthemovie.com).

Damon also produces electronic dance music under the pseudonym “Showboat”. He released a single with Steve Bug’s international label PokerFlat Records on the US Tournament, and has sold tracks for television placement in the show Melrose Place for it’s DVD re-release. Much of this music is available on this website.
Damon is currently working in Los Angeles as a freelance Writer/Director/Editor.
